I have to say that I am a HUGE fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout/J. Lynn. She can write no wrong with me! So when I heard that Cam was getting a book from his POV, I literally

And I’m proud to day that I’m a card carrying member of the Author Stalker club, the Jennifer Armentrout chapter!

Review: Sweet Seduction Series by Nicola Claire Books 1-3

Ok this post is gonna be a little different than the norm. It’s for  three books, all in the same series! I recently finished book three in the Sweet Seduction series by Nicola Claire, after having read books 1 and 2 back to back. I was so enthralled in this series, I LOVED them all! And since I couldn’t even take the time to do the books justice by writing proper reviews for each book, as I was too anxious to get to the next one, they all got short, but sweet reviews to express my undying love! winking love struck

So, I thought I’d do a little something different and post an omnibus review for all three!

Book One: Sweet Seduction Sacrifice

I abso-freaking-lutely LOVED it! I have no words right now! I also have about 20 pages of highlights on my kindle to comb through for my review! Full review to come! 😉

As you can see, I never made it back to complete the review. That was because I went on to read book two and was immediately sucked in and, as we all know, I can’t multi task. But here are a few highlights I finally went back to get just for this post! 🙂 But since you know me and I can never do anything small, here’s the link for a few of my favorite highlights! 😉

Nikki’s Favorite Highlights 🙂

Book Two: Sweet Seduction Serenade

And again, absofuckinglutely AWESOMSAUCE!!!!!! I was planning on writing my review for book one before reading this but I couldn’t wait. Now I’m in love with both Anscombe brothers!  There are no words! Nicola Claire has just blown me away with her talent! I have the biggest, dumbest grin on my face too! The epilogue alone is worth 5 stars! LOVED IT!!!

Once again, after this quickie review I dove straight in to book three and was hooked from page one.

Book Three: Sweet Seduction Shadow

I think this one may be my favorite so far! I loved Ben and Abi! Their pasts were heartbreaking and the way they came together was simply beautiful! day dreamingAgain I have so many highlights on my kindle but I don’t even know where to start with a longer review! All I can say is I absofreakinglutely loved this book and the entire series thus far! I can’t wait for Jason and Katie’s story next!!!

So as you can see, not very detailed I’m afraid, but definitely to the point!

All three books have a love at first sight aspect to them, which would normally turn me off as I feel that’s a little unrealistic. However, Ms. Claire does it so well and in a way that I fell in love at first sight right along with the characters! It was astounding how awesome of a job she did here! Along with that, there was flying bullets, flying punches (some by the kick ass heroines ;)), lots of drama to keep you on the edge of your seat, and some serious hot sex! (hot unlucky ) me fanning myself before my cold shower 😉

Considering that I was sucked into these three books, I know you’re thinking that I went on to devour book four…and you would be right…but alas, I wasn’t able to because it hasn’t been released yet. sad BUT! I have it on good authority (straight from the author herself!) that it will be out within the next few weeks! So, check back and you can see if I’ll be able to do it justice with a longer review! winking

Here’s three more random quotes that I liked:

Check out the series on Goodreads!

Review: Withstanding Me (Breakneck, #2) by Crystal Spears

This crazy ass book makes me want to curse till the cows come home! SO BEWARE STRONG LANGUAGE AHEAD…

But to be honest if this review offends you then you would be better staying away from this whole series!

I won’t lie to you it isn’t pretty and Crystal Spears never promises rainbows in the sky and bunnies skipping in the fields. She does quite the opposite as both books come with WARNINGS ***which need to be taken note of.***

This book contains crude language, explicit and open drug use, and other gritty, raw, f@cked up sh@t involving crazy ass relationships and cold blooded revenge. YET I FREAKIN LOVED EVERY DAMN WORD OF THE BOOK hahahahahaha!

I was completely hooked till I had read both Breakneck books back to back and I was still craving for more!!!!

I personally feel you would do yourself an injustice if you didn’t read the first book before this one as I think it helps you understand the characters better. Plus the first book was AMAZING so why not read two bloody brilliant books instead of just one!?!

“The truth people, is that this world isn’t all sunshine, flowers, and rainbows”

This book is about ZZ (Mason Allen Dillan) and Storm (you will just have to read it to find out her real name) 😉 both are members of the Breakneck biker club.

Storm is a strong independent woman who has overcome a tough time in her life and she isn’t willing to give that up for some quick f@ck with ZZ. She is after commitment nothing more nothing less…

‘I’m not looking for a one-night stand. The next man to make me come will have that honor because he wants more than just my pussy.’

ZZ being a typical biker isn’t after a ‘relationship.’ ZZ is purely after ‘riding the storm’ (his words not mine) hahaha! His attitude is…

‘Fuck all that heart bullshit talk. A man like me doesn’t give his heart away. A man like me only cares about one damn thing, and that’s straight hardcore fucking. That’s all I care about. Ass and titties’

The thing I like about ZZ is that underneath the ‘I don’t care for more’ attitude is a genuine, honest man who is clearly afraid of commitment. I wanted to squeeze, shake and slap him and tell him to wake up before it is too late! Grrrrrrr!

But just to show he does have a softer side when he is with Storm…

“Darlin’ you’re way too beautiful to let them take your beauty from you. What you went through was just a terribly bad fucked up dream, baby. A dream you’re gonna sweat out and forget about,” he says, while swiping my bangs away from my eyes”

Ahhhh I hear you say!!! Exactly my point hahahahaha!

I love Storm’s kickass style and strong personality. She won’t back down and be walked all over. Which is just what ZZ needs to help him get his head out of his arse hahahahaha!

Then again I don’t know how Storm resists ZZ, as these bikers sure can f@ck!!! OMG the sex scenes are HOTTTTTTT!!!!! No foreplay to be found here just raw passionate panty ripping sex!!! Mmmmmmmm

The thing that makes me laugh about these rough tough butch biker men is the fact they think that a quick f@ck with deal with their infatuation with their women. Yet once they go down that avenue they soon realise that these women have got their claws into them and there is NO WAY they are escaping without ripping their hearts out in the process.

One of the things I love is the fact the story is written from different characters points of view. This helped when trying to wade through the screwed up mess that is the Breakneck world!

Crystal Spears certainly has a talent for writing f@cked up crazy sh@t. You also get a teaser for book 3 at the end of Withstanding Me. OMG Shadow you amazingly hot biker I seriously need a piece of your ass NOW!!!! Bwhahahahahaha! Ms Spears you are such a bloody tease!!! I feel as though I have been left on the edge of an orgasm with no release!!!! I was screaming NOOOOOOO!!! Hahahahaha!

Review: Shine Not Burn by Elle Casey

Shine Not BurnShine Not Burn by Elle Casey

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I can’t be held responsible. Things that happen there are supposed to stay there, right? Right? Yeeeah. Not so much.

Andie’s just days away from tying the knot, but there’s just ooooone little glitch. Apparently, she’s already married. Or someone with her name is married to a guy out in Oregon of all places, and the courthouse won’t issue her a marriage license until it’s all cleared up. Tripping her way through cow pies and country songs to meet up with a man who gets around places on horseback is her very last idea of how to have a good time, but if she’s going to get married, make partner at the firm, and have two point five kids before she’s thirty-five, she needs to get to the bottom of this snafu and fix it quick … before her fiance finds out and everything she’s been working toward goes up in flames.
